Hi, my name is Scot. Together with my wife, Marie-Eve, we are going to embark on a path to fitness. As with everything in life, this road to fitness is not going to be an easy one. This is not going to be a regular blog/fitness tracker. We are not only going to share our successes with you, but also our failures. We are living in a world that only the good things are posted on Facebook, Instagram, Snap, Twitter, etc., and nothing that is in the slightest way negative. We don’t feel life is only filled with success, sometimes you have failures. Therefore, when we fall off the weight loss wagon, miss a workout day, gain at weigh-in, you will see it. If you are following us, it probably means that you need inspiration. That’s fine, we will have a great many posts that will have the inspiration you need. However, you will need the truth as well. You will need to know that you are NOT alone in your misstep. So, read the posts on our success, but also read the posts on our failures. You will see what we did and how we overcame the less than ideal result. There is no shame in failure so long as you take with it better knowledge for success the next time.
So, what can you expect from this blog/website? We are going to post our weekly weigh-ins. It is important for us to track our weight loss, so this is not only for you, the reader, to see how we are doing, but also for us to see how we are doing. We will post our weekly meal plan and calorie intake. The calories will be tracked using MyFitnessPal, screenshots of the daily total will be taken and posted the following week. So, every time you see a meal plan or calorie counter, these will be from the week before. This allows us to keep the content fresh and manageable for us. We intend on posting videos of us working out, walking, or anything else we do that can be considered a form of physical exercise. We have plans to do interviews with knowledgeable people in physical fitness that we know that live around us. These should be insightful and helpful posts to both you and us. We also hope to have some reviews of products and meals that we have tried. The opinions will be ours and in will only be based of our interaction with a product or personal taste of a meal. Your results and tastes may vary, and that is ok. We will also be posting great recipes we use for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks/desserts.
